Cancellation Policy
Notary Service Policy AB3 Legal provides professional notary services in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 406, and applicable state regulations. By scheduling an appointment, clients agree to the following terms of service. 1. Identification Requirements All signers must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, or state ID). The name on the ID must match the name on the document being notarized. 2. Mobile Notary Policy Mobile notary services are available throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth region. $10 per document notarized $1 per additional stamp (same document) $40 flat service call within 40 miles of ZIP 75172 $1.50 per mile beyond 40 miles $40 per hour after the first hour on-site Travel fees are due upon arrival. Notarial fees are collected after the signing is complete. 3. Online Notary Policy Remote online notarizations are conducted through a state-approved secure platform. $10 per document notarized $35 platform and processing fee (includes identity verification and digital record storage) A session link will be sent after booking. Clients must have a working webcam, microphone, and internet connection. 4. Appointment Cancellations and Delays Cancellations within one hour of the appointment may incur the full service call fee. If a signer is not present or identification is invalid, the appointment will be canceled, and travel fees will still apply. 5. Document Preparation Documents must be complete before the notary appointment. A notary public may not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or interpret legal language. 6. Refusal of Service AB3 Legal reserves the right to refuse notarization if: The signer appears unwilling or coerced, The document is incomplete or unlawful, or Proper identification is not provided. 7. Recordkeeping and Privacy All notarial acts are logged as required by Texas law. Personal information is kept confidential and used solely for notarial record purposes. 8. No refunds for services cancelled less than 1 hour before appointment.
